This was without doubt the worst chinese I have ever had.The food was tasteless and cold. The place resembled a transport cafe and seemed to cater mainly for takeaways.Not a pleasant experience and couldnt wait to leave.
This restaurant has a few outlets, I have eaten in two, this one and one in Ilford.
I am a big fan of the buffet style of eating. Its not a style that favours intimate, romantic dinners but when it comes to good food, in modern unfussy surroundings it is excellent. The Gourmet pushes all these buttons and at a very reasonable price. Two of us ate,on a Saturday night in Ilford, with soft drinks, for under £23.00. Fantastic value and good quality and good choice of dishes, incuding desserts.
